Once,
I thought
I was
a spider.
"Maybe that's not me!" I said
when I looked in the mirror.
"Maybe I'm not
a giant
spider!"
But it was
so, so true.
I looked
in the mirror.
I did not like
what I saw.
I had
become
a lovely, lovely spider.
So, I went
and ate
some bugs.
But I was
still so hungry
still so hungry
so I wanted
something more.
I was hungry
so I started doing
one thing more.
I ate other spiders!
Others like me!
I ate other spiders
and it filled me up with glee!
So many spiders
for me
to eat.
and oh!
so delicious
inside
my tummy!
I ate the spiders
and I grew.
I ate the spiders
and never flew.
Sometimes I would
try to try to catch a bird,
it's true!
Lovely spiders for me
to eat!
Giant
things,
yes!
with
eight feet!
I loved to eat the spiders,
even though
I'm a spider.
It's kind of like
what the
humans do.
For they prey,
they prey upon
each other.
Extracting
their juicy,
juicy goo.
But! Me,
I do it literally
while they,
they do it figuratively.
They extract themselves
such delicious goo!
Making husks of their fellow humans.
Yes! It's true!
