I wanted to just get one more pet
and instead
I think I got three.
One was a cat and one was a snake
and the other, it just bit me.
I think it was a tiny little
mouse or weevil or something else.
It hitch'd a ride on my new cat here,
but I think it wants to eat us all.

Some things they like to eat peo ple and cats
and some things they eat not at all.
Most of the time those things they are rocks
but they are good pets, that's all.
They do not poop or whine for old shoes
or do their duty on the lawn.
Instead they just look real nice, all year,
and then I have quite a ball.

But my new cat, it just had two ears, not the three
I wanted at all.
I wanted a three ear'd cat, it's true.
Just like the one I saw at the mall.
This three eared cat, it wanted to play
the hedgewars game with my hedgehogs.
But I said no, and put it in another room
way down the hall.

My cat, it just wanted to play games
and it int'rested the weevil
I think it was a weevil or a tick.
But something small, that's all I know.
This little bug, it wanted two things.
Quite naughty things, that I am sure.
World domination
and a gun
so I put it out the door.
